just between us girls, what's your favourite feature about a man?  It can be physical or character.  Or both.  Mine has to be gentleness.  I like a man that I can feel safe around and trust.  After that, I like little feet.  I don't know why, but I've always liked men with little feet.  So, I'm weird.  Sue me.  What is it for you?

Seebrownthere...

Men with little feet...thank you for the laugh!

To me it's the small things. The look in his eye that tells me he cares or he is interested or genuinely concerned. Being "there" is important. I'm not interested in a guy who comes home and zones out. I like men who are actively involved in our life together.

As for physcial appearance - I like guys who are  in shape but not the ones who look like they've been in the  gym all day. I like guys who look like they've been chopping wood or working outside lifting things...that's the kind of  "in shape" I like.

No metrosexuals for me!

Eyes. A man's eyes tells secrets

I like a funny man. I like a man that can keep me laughing.

I like a man who is strong. Not necessarily muscular, but one I can feel safe with.

He needs to be secure in who he is.

He needs to be confident.

He needs to be HONEST!!!!!

I could go on and on and on...but I think you get the point. LOL

I'll go with good sense of humor, supportive, spontaneous and honest.  Those are the big ones for me I guess.

Sense of humor for me too...somebody who can initiate a conversation, and also listens to what everyone has to say.Other than that I always notice voice ...I like men who are confident about the way they speak. And yes someone with good ettiquettes.

I've got a couple of male friends who are facing a mid-life "can't believe I'm not twenty anymore" crisis, and I've told them, women do not like men who look like they spend the day at the gym.  We automatically think "self-absorbed" and move on to someone normal!  A hardworking man is just the thing.  It makes the blokes feel better as they age to know that we think other things are more important.

Oohh, where to start.  Eyes, must have soulful eyes.  Tall.  In shape.  Nice bootie. and beyond the physical I like a man that I can talk to about anything any time. One that can make me and keep me laughing.  A man that listens is always nice and I don't mean listens as in he does what I say (although that's not a bad thing either. LOL).  It's nice when you talk to someone who is really really listening to what you have to say. There is so much more but those are probably my faves. Oh yeah, did I mention a nice bootie!

Regardless of any of the things that make life hard, not a day goes by (literally) when my hubby does not make me laugh.  Hard!

As George Carlin says, (and I paraphrase) The value of a life is not counted by the number of breaths you take but the number of times your breath is taken away.

My husband takes my breath away by making me laugh 'til it hurts.

My son takes my breath away by walking into the room.

I guess I'm really lucky....

What takes my breath away is a man who is all action...with little talk...like my honey who has built me a deck simply because he knows I enjoy my coffee on the patio enjoying the outdoors...or when he plants banana and papaya trees knowing those are my favorite fruits....I have never asked for either...but he is a man who listens.... taking it all in and then taking action...ahhhhhh....love!

The things that caught my eye about my husband were his eyes, his smile, his sense of humor, his confidence, and his gentle heart. In that order.

The first thing that attracts me to a man is his smile.  A great, genuine, unguarded smile that reaches into his eyes and makes them twinkle, is absolutly sexy to me.  What keeps me interested in someone that makes me laugh, who can be silly with me.

wow, Deneen, that's fantastic!  Someone who listens to you that well and then acts on it to that extend is a gem.  I'm happy for you.  I hope I find something like that someday.

Can I be brutally honest with this?  I mean, I have dated many types and by far the best IN BED I have ever had has been the shy/geeky/nerdy guys (must be all that porn? or magazines?)  I know this sounds crude, but heck my husby was shy (and could very well be a genious but I dont want to give him more amo to use against me in an arguement, heh), and he slowly coming out of it but he is great.

Mouth, Gotta have full lips, no lips no good kissies

Arms, I like nice arms, tattoos are not a problem for me, find it just more decoration for me to look at and admire.

Shape, you dont have to be a body builder to get my eye, but showing care to your body does matter!

Ass, I like bubble butts in a guy, it is probably the ONLY reason I watch football and baseball, nice asses!

Eyes, now I have dated guys with all different colors of eyes, but I seem to like brown eyes best, they are so warm and chocolatie (hmmmm chocolate) Blue eyed guys have been too cold, green eyed guys to shifty and end up being total liars, gray eyed guys ALWAYS depressed!

Hair, ok, now I know this is cruel, but I like a guy with very little hair, meaning I HATE chest hair, back hair, butt hair (um you know) ear hair, or other weird places that makes no since and proves we were once monkeys, I have found that I date either shave headed men or very very long haired men.  Example Vind Diesal LOVE HIM!  and Johnny Depp OMG! him and Orlando Bloom *druels*

Piercings, have no clue why just like them, example my ideal guy (other than husby) is the lead singer to Disturbed, has the bald hair little body hair takes care of his bod and very nice ink, I find him sexy as hell!

And last but not least chivlary, when I met my husband I was at a pool hall and later we went back to his place where the party continued I passed out on his bed (dumb! but I knew the other guys and the girls just not him but still DUMB!) I woke up on his bed with a blanky and him sleeping ACROSS the door so that if anyone should open the door to sneak in his room he would be there to great them. You dont run across that now adays and I count myself very very lucky!

I like tall but more than that I love brown hair and brown eyes. There's something very warm about brown eyes. And hands -- nice, big hands.

Eyes are the first thing I notice.  You can tell a lot by looking into someones eyes.  Then the smile, it doesn't even have to be a perfect smile, I just like it when I get that cat caught with the canary grin LOL.  I agree with you all on the fit thing, fit but not body builder fit.  I prefer men with long hair.  Not hairy men but I like long hair.  All the more to grab a hold of .  Hubby had long hair like Warrent and Poison when I met him.  I also like someone who thinks of me sometimes.  I think that gets lost in a marriage in many cases and that's the one thing I strive to keep going.  Lets not forget each other.

ooooooooooohhhhhhhh, I know what you mean about the eyes!  I like eyes that you can get lost in, and a smile that is genuine.  One that makes you forget there are other people in the room.  I like consideration.  Like when someone knows that you're on the other side of the door somewhere, so even though they're in a hurry, they open the door slowly so that they won't hit you with it.  Gotta love it.

Well, I'll have to sound a different bell here: I don't think body hair on a man is unattractive. In fact, I think it's very masculine and strong.

Oh some women like hairy chested men but my thing is, if they expect ME to be tweezed, waxed and shave I expect THEM to be too!

My man must have the following:

A good, strong, healthy body ; I need something worthwhile to grip when that awesome moment comes sending me to heaven and back...Yes!!!

A great lover, who knows how to make a woman tingle with delight, so that she call him at work to thank him for a job well done ...oh yes I did that !!!

A great tool which is functioning (no 1/2 inc or sausage)

A great sense of humour, I love to laugh a lot

One who is loving, compassionate, kind and gentle.

N.B   The hair thing I can dig it does not matter.

Oh, E.!   You make me blush and laugh at the same time!  When we're honest, we tell it like it is, and you want what you want.  I really think it's great that we give ourselves permission these days to be vibrant, sexual beings.  We are whole women, and when we can express ourselves this honestly, it's a good thing.  I like the fact that we can show that we want a man who has character and good qualities, but at the same time we want him to be a qualified worker in the bedroom, too!  Good for you, E.

I agree with E, I believe in the saying about the "motion of the ocean" but to me if you can't feel the damn boat there is a problem, that or if the boat is TOO BIG for the dock then maybe that ship should go somewhere else!  grooming is nice though no uni brow, no ear hair, no nose hair past the nose, necks should not have hair, legs are ok arms are ok, just back...no, butt no, uh *ahem* area fine, chest hair meh just as long as its not a sweater or brilo pad, I dont wanna be thinking of how much it costs to 'sheer' him or washing stuff by having him slide across the floor during sex.....

ooohhh Elorraine!!! shut your mouth!!! I thought it, but didn't say it!!! LOL....I agree! I agree! i agree!

Sea I agree...for so long women have been afraid to enjoy sex, some even taught that they shouldn't enjoy sex...BUT...I got news for them...why do it if you aren't going to enjoy every single moment of it. Because you can be the total package, but if the bedroom is boring, then we gone have a few problems!
