Here in RI the Coalition for Veterans at Risk was founded recently in response to this issue. There was no funding or services available to veterans who where assaulted on a tour of duty or when the returned. The woman whose rape sparked the issue here was advised by her branch of military that they could not do anything, but that an idependant non-profit would be the best solution.
