Oh I know it is a world wide thing! It is ludicrous! I have been fighting this damn disease (bi-polar) for 17+ years and FINALLY (last year) found the perfect med combinations! I will be the first to admit, off meds a bi-polar or depressed person is not the easiest to deal with, but on the right meds, we can be normal. One of the biggest problems with the meds though is that they do not come in generic form. My meds run about $1000.00 + a month! I just applied for a job at the local pizza joint on the weekends.
